Unless you monthly take them off and wash the fenders really good then that may slow down the rusting process. Expand. I'm going to have flares on the front. I keep my trucks undercoated. The 16" dually wheel will not fit over the SRW Drum. They do make a 2" spacers that allow 16" dually wheels to fit your SRW axle which would put you 1" wider then a DWR dana 80 axle .
