I just bought a new brass knuckles cartridge and when i tried to use it with my absolute xtracts battery it did not work. it works fine with other cartridges. Flashing pink/purple lights usually means the cartridge is on too tight. Hope that helps--if not, it might be best to swap it out with an ABX cartridge. ;) God bless.
