The only way to tell a 351M from a 400 is to pull the head and measure the stroke, or pull the oil pan and reference the crank number. I don't have specific info on the crank number, but there are enough posts here about it to find it ...

Welcome to FTE. Yeupp, the 400 pistons will fit with the 4.000" crank...the only thing different between the 351M and the 400 is the crank and pistons.
