The Convoy L21B cslnm1 is the candela king for under $50, though a lot of people would recommend the L21B SFT40 instead which is probably #3 for under $50. Another very strong candela light for the price is the Convoy C8+ cslnm1. The smallest light I know of with over 100k candela is the Thrunite Catapult Mini v1.

The flashlight is the worst, especially when it's actually dark and you're nest another light source or it's foggy. The highlight contrast becomes so blown out, and just looks like a detail less bright spot. The game doesn't even have a setting or a key bind that mentions it.
