If so, that would indicate some type of hose or connector leak from the heater under the dash. Be sure to get that wet carpet out of the car and cleaned and dried. See if the moisture travelled to under the seat or back seats too. It has to be dried or it will only get nastier, fast. Good luck!

Found it leaking from the water pump area on the passenger side by where the bottom of the auto tensioner sticks out from the bottom timing belt cover. I removed everything and changed the water pump, timing belt, tensioner and pully (1st timing belt job. Made easy by this forum (Thanks). I used RTV sealant on the water pump gasket.
